1階テナントを改装したケーキ店。建物は岐阜県大垣市の市街地に位置する。かつては賑わいがあった町の中心部であったが、現在はシャッターを下ろす店が多く、決して活気があるとは言えない。しかし建物の接する街路は、騒がしい駅前とは隔離された、静かで伸びやかな空気が漂う魅力があった。そこで、ファサードに大きな開口部を設け、この通りの気配をなるべく店内に取り込むことを考えた。奥の菓子製造室、休憩室や水場等、開口部を絞りながらも店のどこからでも外の様子を望める構成になっている。
The Cake shop renovated is located in the city center of Ogaki in Gifu. Currently, a lot of shops are closed around this street so it cannot be called an active area even though it was the city center at once. However, the street in front of the building has an atmosphere of quiet and relaxation and is segregated from the noisy station area. Therefore, I thought of taking in this atmosphere as well as possible by opening the big windows of the facade. It consisted of viewing outside from everywhere such as a manufacturing room, back room, and washing area in the kitchen even though narrowing openings in this shop.
