小さな小屋を建てるプロジェクト。増築を前提として、母屋とは独立した空間、手頃な価格であることが求められた為、小屋は土着せずに、トラックで運べる程度の寸法としている。今回のケースでは、実家に自分の部屋がない20代の施主が、自宅の敷地内に設置し、自身の個室として使用する。大工工事を施主自身が行う為に、外壁を米杉板貼とし、内部の床・壁・天井・家具を全て合板にし、施工性と可変性に考慮した。床については、レベル差の異なる立体的な床面を構成することで、床が机や階段、収納やベッドへと、ミニマルな空間で変化しながら機能を満たしている。また、外部の恵まれた緑豊かな環境を、小さな小屋へ最大限取り込むことを考えた。その結果、南側の大きな開口部は小屋の半分が外部と一体となり、山と梅の木を、東側には栗の木と母屋のアプローチの気配を、北側にはもう一方の山の木々と風を取り込む窓を設けた。自分の部屋という小さな世界を内包しつつ、室内のどこにいても外の風景と繋がっていることを感じる空間を目指した。
It's the project of building a small hut. The small room consists of the measurements for carrying a track and not being fixed on the ground due to being required space independent from the main house and affordable price. A young client of this project who doesn't have a room in his family place set this hut in the part of the site in the family house to use it as his own room. I considered the workability and flexibility such as red cedars for the outer wall and plywood for the inside materials because of the self build by the client. The different levels of floors are full the functions while changing in the minimal space like being a desk to stairs or a storage and a bed. In addition, it is considered melting with abundant nature in the surroundings such as the large window of the South becoming half of the room to the outside, the elongated window of the East seeing a chestnut tree, and the North window bringing in the wind or the mountain. It aimed at the space for feeling like connecting a landscape from everywhere while embracing the small world of my own room.
